Obama's administration nominated Anne Ferro late Thursday to lead the FMCSA and she is no stranger to the transportation industry. She is currently the President and CEO
of the Maryland Motor Truck Association and has a long history as a truckers advocate.
Her track record with the MMTA clearly shows that she is by far one of the best candidates to fill the FMCSA head position. She has fought for more truck parking along interstates in Maryland, disputed toll increases and supported truck driver training just to mention a few.
Given Farro's reputation as "trucker friendly" will make the trucking community step with better posture and maybe create a few more trucker smiles along the way.
